QR For Everyone

Accessibility

QR For Everyone aims to keep the generator, tools, and QR guidance usable for as many people and devices as possible.

Website accessibility

The interface uses semantic headings, visible labels, keyboard-focus styling, readable text, descriptive page titles, and conventional buttons and links. Tool controls should remain usable without relying on color alone.

Accessible QR code creation

A QR code should be paired with nearby text that explains the destination or action. Important printed materials should include an alternative URL, phone number, or short instruction for people who cannot scan the code.

Contrast and print readability

Use strong foreground and background contrast, avoid busy backgrounds, keep the quiet zone clear, and test the final code on real devices. The contrast checker and size calculator help catch common problems before printing.

Known limitations

Downloaded QR images may still need surrounding explanatory text in the final design. QR scanning behavior depends on the scanner device, camera, browser, lighting, material, and destination page accessibility.
