Free static QR code maker

Free QR code generator online

Create a custom static QR code for a link, Wi-Fi network, vCard, event, document, review page, payment link, or message. The generator renders the QR image in your browser and lets you download PNG, SVG, WEBP, or JPG.

Static QR codes cannot be edited through QR For Everyone after printing. Check the destination and scan the final design before using it in public.

Step 1

Choose QR type and enter details

QR type chooser

Which QR type should you choose?

Each type creates a static payload. The scanner action depends on the encoded data and the scanner app or phone that reads it.

Static vs dynamic

QR For Everyone creates static QR codes. The QR pattern contains the entered link or data directly. The site does not provide dynamic redirect management, hosted file uploads, saved QR accounts, or built-in scan analytics.

Privacy and data

QR image rendering happens in the browser. The text or link you enter still becomes part of the finished QR code, so avoid encoding private details unless everyone who scans the code may see or open them.

Export and print quality

Use SVG when the code needs to scale in design or print software. Use PNG, WEBP, or JPG when a raster image fits the workflow. Keep a quiet zone, strong contrast, and a final proof scan.

Common problems

Fix scan risks before the QR code goes public

Most failures are caused by destination mistakes, dense payloads, low contrast, missing quiet zone, small print, or changed content.

Incomplete URL

Use the full destination, including http or https. Then open it on a phone while logged out.

Too much data

Long text, detailed vCards, and long URLs create denser QR patterns. Use a shorter controlled URL when possible.

Low contrast

A dark foreground on a light background is safer than pale colors, reversed colors, or transparent backgrounds.

Missing quiet zone

Keep clear space around all sides of the code. Do not crowd the edge with text, frames, photos, or folds.

Too small in print

Size depends on scan distance, phone camera, material, and lighting. Always proof-scan the final output.

Destination changed

A static QR code cannot be edited after printing. If the destination may change, encode a URL you control.

Generator questions

Do these QR codes expire?

A static QR code does not expire by itself. It can still fail if the destination URL stops working, the printed code is damaged, or the encoded information is no longer correct.

Can I edit a static QR code after printing?

No. The printed pattern directly contains the original link or data. Create a new QR code if that encoded value needs to change.

Is an account required?

No. The static QR generator does not require an account.

Which download format should I use?

Use SVG for design and print workflows because it scales cleanly. Use PNG for everyday documents and web use. WEBP or JPG can help when another app requires those raster formats.

Does QR For Everyone track scans?

No. QR For Everyone does not add scan tracking to static QR codes. You can encode a URL from a site you control if that destination uses its own analytics.

Is my entered information stored?

The generator renders the static QR image in your browser and does not require a saved account or QR database. The encoded information is still visible to anyone who scans the finished code.
